PCBA Quality Control

Quality assurance is an integral part of our company and the following steps and tools are basic prerequisites for all circuit boards during and after the production process:

» Electronic Components: We source and purchase components and materials only from manufacturers or authorized distributors to ensure perfect quality.

» Automated Optical Inspection: AOI is a camera which autonomously scans the device under test (DUT) for variety of surface feature defects such as scratches and stains, open circuits, short circuits, thinning of the solder as well as missing components, incorrect components, and incorrectly placed components.

» Manual Visual Inspection: Manual inspections are done between the production processes and at last step. Particular focus is the control of the correct layout and placement of all components and the proper wetting of the solder.

» PCBA Functional Test Functional tests are used as a final manufacturing step to simulate the operating environment for the product. It provides a pass/fail determination on finished PCBAs before they are shipped. An FCT’s purpose in manufacturing is to validate that product hardware is free of defects that could, otherwise, adversely affect the product’s correct functioning in a system application. Test procedures vary widely according to PCBA and systems.

» Quality Compliance: All quality is in accordance with ISO9001 directive: CCC ,UL, CE, ROHS and EK requirements.

» Cleaning and Packaging: The PCBA are separated in small boxes within one standard big carton. Inside protected by bubble bags. All circuit boards are kept in RoHS compliant storage packaging to prevent moisture. If any unopened package exceeds the expiration date or being opened, these components will need to be properly baked to remove the excess moisture.
